Caistor Grammar School has come out top of the county in the school performance tables released by the Department for Education today (Thursday).

The school has been revealed to have had 98 per cent of its pupils achieve five-plus A*-C grade GCSEs including English and maths.

Although this is down on the last few years - the school having a 99 per cent rate in 2014 and 100 per cent rate in 2012 and 13 - the school remains top of the county.

However, Caistor Yarbrough doesn’t fare as well, with only 25 per cent of its pupils getting the five-plus A*-C grades, down on last year’s 51 per cent.
