Children at Legsby School have been kept busy this term looking at bees.

Both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 have been creating pictures of bees and swarms as part of a competition run by the Lincolnshire Beekeepers Association.

They have also been testing their culinary skills by baking biscuits using honey provided by former school parent Dawn Ranyard.

The pictures did well in the competition, gaining two first places and one third for the younger pupils and a second and a third for the older children, resulting in the school winning the Harry Needham Memorial Cup.
