Downton Abbey dressing-up was one of the attractions at Market Rasen’s Holyrood Catholic Church Summer Fete.
The popular event on Saturday July 19 raised just over £800 to help the parish continue updating its churches.
“It was a very enjoyable day for all and I am pleased that it was a success because all the work was done by parishioners and their families. Every year they invent new enjoyable games that everyone can play and enjoy as well as the traditional bowls and golf putting,” said Father Tom Breslin.
Local artist and restorer Sandro Giambattista sold an artwork he exhibited and the Christmas Crib restoration Group from Caistor Church separately raised about £100.
