The funeral service for Dorothy Grace Tindall, aged 88 years of East Barkwith, was held at the parish church.

The Rev Chris Harrington officiated at the service and arrangements were by J Marshall of Market Rasen.

Born in South Willingham, Dorothy was well known in East Barkwith having been publican of the Cross Roads Inn for 17 years, retiring in 1979.

She was also a member of the Cross Roads dominoes team, East Barkwith village hall committee, the WI, Barkwith and District Gardeners’ Association and Lincolnshire Lace Makers.

Family mourners were: John and Sandra Tindall (son and daughter-in-law); John and Janet Hubbard (daughter and son-in-law); Richard Hubbard and Ellie Corton (grandson and fiancee); Daniel Hubbard (grandson); Emma Tindall and Alec Enderby (granddaughter and fiance); Aimee Tindall, Kate Tindall (granddaughters); Kath Dust, Mary Traves (cousins); Graham Dust, Colin Dust, Barry and Julie Baggley, Carol Horne (nephews and nieces).
