South Willingham

Reel to Reel - The next film to be shown to the Reel to Reel Group in the Parish Hall on Tuesday, November 12, is Repulsion, an X-rated horror drama which won the 1965 Berlin International Film Festival.

Roman Polanski’s first English language movie turned its back on swinging 60s London to show a young woman besieged on all sides by the demons of her past.

Arts and crafts - South Willingham Art and Craft Group is holding an exhibition and sale in the Parish Hall on Saturday and Sunday, November 16 and 17.

Admission is free and the hall will be open from 12noon to 5pm each day.

Back to the Sixties - It’s fun, food and dancing all to a 60s theme at the Parish Hall on Friday, November 15.

And everyone is encouraged to add to the party atmosphere by dressing to the theme.

Wragby

Community Gardeners - Jo Dennison will be giving advice on growing peonies at the next meeting of Wragby Community Gardeners Club in the Town Hall on Tuesday, November 12.

The meeting starts at 7.30pm and visitors are always welcome to attend for a small charge, which includes refreshments at the close.

Coffee morning - A coffee morning will be held in Wragby Surgery on Saturday, November 9 from 9.30am to raise money for the Surgery Equipment Fund.

Coffee and biscuits will be served and there will be a range of stalls, including home made cakes, toys, bric-a-brac, tombola and raffle.

Organisers Dot Sandaver and Anne Buffham will be very pleased to accept donations of tombola prizes or home made cakes.

Family bingo - The popular Saturday Night Family Bingo sessions continue in the Town Hall, with the next this Saturday, November 9; eyes down at 7.30pm for good cash prizes.

Children, who must be accompanied, receive a free raffle ticket with a draw at the end of each bingo game with sweet or chocolate prizes.
