What’s happening in Wragby and South Willingham

Wragby

Coffee morning - a coffee morning is being held at Wragby Surgery to raise money for its equipment fund.

It will take place on Saturday, November 9 from 9.30am.

There will be various stalls and a raffle.

Choir concert - the Lincoln Orpheus Male Voice Choir is to present a concert at All Saints Church, Wragby on Saturday, November 2 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £4 and include refreshments. They will be available on the door or in advance by calling 01673 857825.

Talent show - the Wragby Town Hall management committee is planning a Christmas variety show, to be held on Saturday, December

7.

Anyone who would like to take to the stage and display their talent should contact Margaret Kane on 01673 858067.

The show will raise funds for the maintenance of the town hall.

South willingham

Harvest supper - Harvest was celebrated in the parish hall by more than 40 people who sat down to a three course meal organised by the management committee.

Mike Perkins of Perkins, George Mawer and Co gave his services as auctioneer for a sale of donated produce.

Proceeds for hall funds amounted to £274.

Willingham winners - members of the parish hall’s ‘Willingham winners club’ are reminded it is time to renew their annual

membership.

The lucky tickets are drawn at coffee and chat mornings on the first and third Wednesdays of each month between 10.30am and 12pm.

Recent winners are Mike Perkins and Roly Livesy.
