Pauline Foster of Gainsborough was welcomed to the April meeting of Caistor and District Flower Club.
She was also congratulated on passing her judge’s test.
Her demonstration was entitled Dancing with Flowers, and she began with a representation of Riverdance, using palm and arum leaves, yellow tulips, Anastasia chrysanths, hellebore and heather.
This was followed by rock ‘n’ roll, using rolled up aspidistra leaves, fatsia, golden cupressus and laurel, with Singapore orchids, orange carnations and gerberas.
Ballet brought out some lovely blossoms and aqua roses and pink lilies.
The waltz was portrayed with laurel and palms and red berberis, with orange carnations and gerberas, yellow orchid and calla lilies.
Finally, the paso doble was created with red roses, red and yellow tulips and gerberas.
The next meeting of the club will be tonight, Wednesday, at 7.30pm in the Arts Centre at Caistor Town Hall, when Pat Billing from Loughborough will demonstrate Angles and Tangles.
Visitors are welcome, admission £4.
