A SPATE of criminal damage and thefts in and around the Co-op car park in Market Rasen is “concerning” the town’s police.
Officers are asking residents to be extra vigilant and report any suspicious activity in the area.
PC Rob Graves: “We seem to be having on or two issues around the Co-op car park and we have been doing numerous stop searches.
“Six individuals are being dealt with regarding possession of cannabis, but what is more concerning is we seem to have a spate of lead thefts in the area and vehicle damage.”
Co-op staff last week reported having their car lights smashed and their tyres slashed.
