Two in court over alleged Christmas Day attack

TWO SCAWBY Brook women have been accused of assaulting someone on Christmas Day, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court heard.

Michelle Mundey, 49, and Rebecca Mundey, 23, both of Swift Drive, allegedly assaulted Rachel Cooney by beating her in Brigg on Christmas Day last year.

Both women deny the charge – they have been given unconditional bail and will stand trial on August 21.
