Thieves steal football dreams

EXCITEMENT of football training in their new kits has turned to disappointment for youngsters at Rase Park.

Members of the youngest training squad were delighted when Father Christmas granted their wishes and brought them new football boots and kits, but now they are unable to use them, as training has had to be suspended.

The home of Market Rasen’s cricket and football teams has, once again, been hit by a spate of vandalism over the New Year weekend, causing damage to the cricket covers and the club house.

But this time, the vandals went one step further and stole all the balls and other training aids used by the teams from the equipment store.
