Serious collision at Limber Hill

EMERGENCY services were called to a collision at Limber Hill, Great Limber in the early hours of Saturday, October 29.

A blue Subaru Impreza, containing four men from Cudworth near Barnsley and four dogs, left the road on a bend and entered a ditch.

One of the men was thrown from the car and sustained serious leg, pelvic and head injuries. He was taken to Grimsby hospital and later transferred to Hull Royal Infirmary, where he remains in a serious condition.

The other three men aged 20, 18 and 18 were not seriously injured and the four dogs are also not thought to be badly injured, but are being cared for by local vets.
