Crime figures are up for the Brigg and Wolds Ward and town councillors are concerned at policing issues in the area.
At their monthly meeting, town councillors heard an extra three crimes per day had been recorded in the latest figures.
Earlier in the year, Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside Michael Grove was invited to address the council after concerns locally over changes at Brigg Police Station.
At that meeting, Mr Grove said he would be available for further discussions if council remained concerned - now that option is to be taken up.
Speaking at the council meeting, Coun Rob Waltham said the Neighbourhood Action Group was also looking into the worsening situation.
“There is though a seasonal fluctuation,” he added.
Town Mayor James Truepenny reported on a recent experience.
“I had need to speak to the police and it took 24 hours for me to be able to speak to an officer,” he said.
