Prison sentence for Tealby man

A TEALBY man has been handed a ten-week suspended prison sentence for driving while he was disqualified, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard.

Ian Speirs, 43, of Thorpe Lane, pleaded guilty to driving a Renault car in Buslingthorpe Road, Lissington on July 25, 2012, when he was banned from holding a licence. He also admitted using the car without third party insurance.

Spiers’ prison sentence was suspended for 18 months and he and he was ordered to do 150 hours unpaid work. He cannot hold a licence for 18 months.
