Prison sentence for attacker

A MAN has been sentenced to 16 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to assaulting someone, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard.

Steven Kay, 52, of no fixed abode, admitted beating Sarah Pickering in Normanby-le-Wold on May 12, 2012.

He has also been given a restraining order and has to pay £100 compensation.
