Police hunt for cable thieves

Detectives are investigating the theft of a large amount of electricity cable on December 27.

It happened between 10pm and 10.44pm in Middlegate Lane, Melton Ross, Barnetby.

Thieves targeted several man hole covers enabling access to the underground cable which was then cut and stolen.

Call police with information on 101, quoting reference 1949477.
