Pair accused of stealing £4,000 of cigarettes from Market Rasen petrol station

TWO men have appeared in court charged with stealing £4,000 of cigarettes from a Market Rasen petrol station.

Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard how Philip Gordon, 30, of Gautries Close, Nottingham and Darren Winfield, 28, of Amesbury Circus, Nottingham allegedly broke into the town’s Tesco filling station on May 20, 2012 and stole £4,000 of cigarettes.

Both men deny the charge and have been remanded in custody.

The case has been adjourned until June 26.
