Over-the-limit driver gets ban

A DRINK-DRIVER has been fined and banned from having a licence for three years, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard.

Martin Howard, 35, of Stocks Lane, Faldingworth, pleaded guilty to driving a BMW in King Street, Market Rasen, on July 30, 2012, when he was about one-and-a-half times over the legal drink-drive limit.

Howard has been fined £110 and has to pay £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
