Market Rasen man charged for alleged public order offence

A MARKET Rasen man is to stand trial at Lincoln Crown Court after being charged with a string of offences.

Ashley Sanders, 21, of Waterloo Street has been accused of three counts of resisting a police constable in execution of their duty in Market Rasen.

He is also accused of having cannabis in Lincoln and an offensive weapon, a metal bar, in Market Rasen.

And he has been charged under the Public Order Act for allegedly using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence

All the offences all allegedly happened on July 7, 2012.

Mr Sanders has been remanded on bail until October 12, 2012, when then case will be committed to Lincoln Crown Court.
