Man injured in town centre attack

A Scawby man, 41, suffered injuries to the head and face after being assaulted in Scunthorpe town centre at 12.15am on December 22.

He was allegedly punched, knocking him unconscious and causing a broken jaw in two places.

He also suffered bruising and swelling to the head and needed stitches. Police are investigating.
