Man charged after allegedly having metal bar in Market Rasen

A MARKET Rasen man has appeared in court after being charged under the Public Order Act.

Heath Murdoch, 43, of Waverley Court, Queen Street has been charged with having an offensive weapon – a metal bar – in Market Rasen and with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence. Both offences allegedly happened on July 7, 2012.

Mr Murdoch has been remanded on bail until October 12, 2012.
