Man banned from Rasen after attacking son with knife

AN EAST Barkwith man who attacked his son with a knife and punched his girlfriend, has been banned from going to either East Barkwith or Market Rasen for the next 12 months.

Edward Alfred Townend, 43, formerly of New Bodkin in East Barkwith, but now living at an address in Lincoln, pleaded guilty before magistrates at Skegness to assaulting his son Michael and his girlfriend Alie Mettan, by beating them on November 21 this year.
