Jeffrey Boryszczuk

Jeffrey Boryszczuk, 45, of Snelland Road, Wickenby, is due to stand trial accused of theft, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on August 27.

The court was told how Mr Boryszczuk has been charged with stealing an £80 dovecote in Main Street, Lissington on March 25.

Mr Boryszczuk has pleaded not guilty and has been given unconditional bail.

He is due to stand trial at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on November 13.

The case has been adjourned.

Anthony Smith

Anthony Smith, 24, of Margaret Street, Immingham - previously of Brickyard Great Limber, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to eight charges under the Theft Act, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard on September 
1.

The court was told how Smith stole six packs of Christmas lights, to the value of £47.94, on November 8 last year.

The following day he stole four packs of Christmas lights, to the value of £31.96.

On November 11 he stole perfume, to the value of £50, and held the door for a friend while they stole £14 of toys.

And on November 12 Smith stole £42 of gift sets and on November 13 he stole £15 of brut gift sets, £20 of brut gift sets and four Mandate gift sets, to the value of £22.

All of the thefts happened at Boyes in Grimsby, the court was told.

Smith has been handed a 12-month community order and must take part in a ‘refocus’ activity for six days.

He has been ordered to pay a total of £197.40 compensation, £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £60 victim surcharge, the court heard.

Shaun Pickett

Shaun Pickett, 45, of High Street, Kirmington, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving without insurance, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court heard on September 3.

The court was told how Pickett drove a Vauxhall Zafira on the A18 at Barnetby on August 13 when he was more than one-and-a-half times over the legal limit.

A test showed Pickett had 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.

He was also driving without insurance, the court heard.

The court heard how Pickett was banned from driving for 17 months and fined £200.

He has been ordered to pay £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £20 victim surcharge.

Benjamin Lowe

Benjamin Lowe, 29, of Brocklesby Park, Kirmington, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard on September 4.

The court was told how Lowe admitted assaulting a woman by beating her between March 12 and June 12 and on July 11.

Both offences happened in Cleethorpes.

Lowe has been given a community order. He must complete 120 hours of unpaid work and attend appointments with a responsible officer, the court heard.

Lowe has also been given a restraining order and has been ordered to pay a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, £50 compensation and a £10 victim surcharge, the court was told.

Mark Little

Mark Little, 45, of Cabourne, has been jailed for 26 weeks after he pleaded guilty to three counts of dishonestly receiving stolen goods, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on September 7.

The court was told how Little admitted dishonestly receiving a stolen caravan in between October 8, 2012 and May 3, 2013.

He admitted receiving a stolen wallet and its contents between September 12, 2012 and May 3, 2013.

And he also admitted receiving stolen war gaming models and figures between June 12, 2012 and May 3, 2013.

All offences happened in Cabourne.

The court heard how Little had previously pleaded not guilty to all three counts but changed his plea on September 7.

Patrick Grant

Patrick Grant, 45, of Mill Lane, Middle Rasen, has charged with failing to do a breath test as part of a police investigation, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard on September 7.

The court was told how Mr Grant allegedly failed to do a breath test in Lincoln on August 5.

He has not yet entered a plea.

The case has been adjourned until September 23.

Mr Grant has been given unconditional bail until this date, the court was told.

Jake Thompson

Jake Thompson, 18, of Navigation Lane, Caistor, has appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court charged with exposure under the Sexual Offences Act.

The court heard how Thompson pleaded guilty to the offence, which happened in Lincoln on August 22.

Thompson has been bailed until September 29 when he is due to be sentenced.

This hearing took place on September 8.

The case has been adjourned.
