The teenager who was stabbed in Market Rasen yesterday, Friday April 17, has been released from Lincoln Hospital and is now recovering at the home of a friend.

A 35-year-old man arrested in connection with the stabbing has been released without charge by police.

The 18-year-old arrested man arrested by police has been released on police bail while investigations continue.

There has been a heightened police presence in Market Rasen town centre today, Saturday, following the incident.

Capri Pizza was cordoned off while officers continued their investigations along King Street and Queen Street.

A teenager is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in Market Rasen yesterday afternoon, Friday April 17.

A 19-year-old was stabbed in the vicinity of Capri Pizza in King Street before crossing the road and walking towards Boots and The Advocate Arms.

He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital. His wounds are not thought to be life threatening, but police cordoned off much of King and Queen Street following the incident at 5.40pm.

The road is now open.

Two men aged 18 and 35 from Grimsby have been arrested in connection with the stabbing.
