Increased reports of off-roaders

POLICE in the Caistor area say they have seen an increase in the number of reported incidents of people riding around on off-road bikes.

“This is not only dangerous for the riders, who are often without a helmet, but also poses a danger to the public,” said a spokesman for the Caistor community beat team.

“If caught we will proceed with actions to remove/seize the vehicle.”

The most recent incidents have been at Great Limber, incident 358 of September 30, Claxby, incident 161 of September 30, and at Brookenby, incident number 363 of September 29.

The riders of the bikes have not been identified.

Anyone with any information on any of these incidents is asked to call the police on 101 and quote the incident numbers given above.
