Matthew Mansfield

Matthew Mansfield, 29, of St Bernard Close, Broughton, has been handed an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court has heard.

The court heard how Mansfield pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her in Broughton on October 6.

He has been ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 court costs and a £60 victim surcharge.

Anthony Vaux

Anthony Vaux, 39, of High Street, Kirton Lindsey, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to drink driving, a court has been 
told.

Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court heard how Vaux was more than two-and-a-half times over the legal drink-drive limit when he drove a Vauxhall Vectra in Queensway, Scunthorpe on November 2.

Vaux has been banned from driving for 25 months and fined £390.

He has been ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £40 victim surcharge.

Sharon Simpson

Sharon Simpson, 46, of Bobbersmill Road, Nottingham - previously of Windsmoor Road, Brookenby - has appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court charged with assaulting a man by beating him in Brookenby on September 
13.

Ms Simpson has pleaded not guilty to the charge and has been remanded on bail until December 4.

The case has been adjourned.

Daniel Westhead

Daniel Westhead, 19, of Brigg Road, Caistor, has had a warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to turn up for a hearing at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court.

Mr Westhead is accused of failing to comply with a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on July 17 and August 11, failing to provide and acceptable explanation within a given time and failing to maintain contact with his offender manager.

The court heard how Mr Westhead denies the 
charge.

The case has been adjourned.

Nathan Bray

Nathan Bray, 33, of Prebend Lane, Welton, has had a charge against him discontinued, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court has heard.

The court heard how Mr Bray had been charged with theft by employee.

He had been accused of stealing £7,481.67 of stock from Fixfirm Ltd in Pyke Road, Lincoln, between November 2012 and October 2013.

This case has now been discontinued.

Philip Roper

Philip Roper, 43, of Jasmine Way, Wragby, has appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court charged with a public order offence.

The court heard how Mr Roper has pleaded not guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to provoke violence in Silver Street, Lincoln on December 8 last year.

The case has been adjourned until February 12 when he is due to stand trial.

Paul Carrie

Paul Carrie, 23, of Thirsk Close, Market Rasen, has had two charges against him dropped, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court has heard.

The court heard how Mr Carrie had been charged with stealing electrical items after entering Brookenby Business Park as a trespasser between November 19 and November 22 last year.

He had also been charged with causing criminal damage to equipment belonging to Planes TV in Market Rasen between November 19 and November 22 last year.

Mr Carrie had pleaded not guilty to both charges.

Both the criminal damage charge and the burglary charge have now been discontinued.

Suzanne Halstead

Suzanne Halstead, 50, of Gainsborough Road, Middle Rasen, has appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court charged with drink driving and assault by 
beating.

The court heard how Halstead pleaded guilty to being more than three times over the legal drink-drive limit when she drove a Citroen car in John Street, Market Rasen on October 
17.

She is also charged with assaulting a woman in Middle Rasen on October 
17.

Halstead has not yet entered a plea for this charge.

She has been remanded on unconditional bail.

The case has been adjourned.

James Wareham

James Wareham, 22, of London Road, Bexhill on Sea, has been charged with causing criminal damage to a shop door window belonging to Lincolnshire Cooperative in John Street, Market Rasen on July 5.

Mr Solomon has not yet entered a plea.

The case has been adjourned.

Dean Pawson

Dean Pawson, 30, of Yarborough Road, Keelby, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to an assault by beating charge.

Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard how Pawson assaulted a woman by beating her in Grimsby on August 8.

He has been handed 10-year restraining order and a 10-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 
months.

Pawson had originally pleaded not guilty to the charge but changed his 
plea.

Abraham Price

Abraham Price, 22, of Mill Lane, Brigg, has been charged with five counts of exposing his genitals so someone would see them and be caused alarm or distress.

The offences allegedly happened in Grimsby on June 4, August 8 and August 23.

Grimsby Magistrates’ Court heard how Mr Price has pleaded not guilty to all five charges.

He is due to stand trial at the magistrates’ court in February.

The case has been adjourned.
