Horse owners told to be extra aware

POLICE are warning horse
owners to be extra vigilant.

Using the name Roy Archer, a man described as having a strong Irish accent, has visited three equestrian properties in the Welton/Hemswell area
currently for sale.

He claimed to be interested in buying them, but has shown a very heavy interest in the access routes to and from the properties and the horses themselves.

He has also given inconsistent stories at each property in relation to his occupation.

He was driving a gold Rover 75 saloon, believed to be on a 53 plate.

Report any sightings, or any further incidents, to Lincolnshire Police Force Control Room on 101, quoting incident no 258 of August 3.
