Hearse attacker is sentenced

A TEENAGER who damaged a hearse and three other cars has been given a 12-month community order and six months’ treatment for alcohol dependency.

Callum Crossland, 18, from Birch Avenue, Brigg admitted causing criminal damage to a window of a Ford Granada Hearse, a window of a Ford Focus, a door mirror of a Citroen C1 and door mirror of a Citroen C3.

Crossland did the damage in Scunthorpe on September 16, 2011. All the vehicles belonged to Hartwell Ford in Scunthorpe.

He also has a 12-month supervision requirement and was ordered to pay £85 CPS costs.
