Funding ideas to tackle crime

DO you have an idea to help tackle crime in your area?

Grant money is now available for Lincolnshire communities to tackle local crime.

Not for profit organisations, social/community enterprise or informal groups with a social purpose can all apply for a small grant - up to £15,000 - or a large grant - up to £50,000 - to deliver sustainable projects with community involvement.

Applications must focus on one of the following areas: anti-social behaviour; crime in local neighbourhoods; drug and alcohol related crime; reducing re-offending; violence against women and girls; youth crime.

Groups can apply on line at www.cdf.org.uk/web/guest/crime-innovation-fund until December 1, but will be assessed in order of the date of submission until the funding runs out.
