BREAKING NEWS: Attempted robbery at Market Rasen newsagent

A BALACLAVA-clad man carrying a metal bar demanded cash from a Market Rasen newsagent last night.

The man – who was wearing gloves and dark clothing – smashed up the till at McColl’s in Queen Street but left empty handed at about 9.30pm.

At least two people were working in the shop at the time but neither were injured.

Anyone who has any information should call Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident 426 of June 17.
