Bleasby woman to stand trial

A BLEASBY woman accused of two assaults is to stand trial.

Josephine Smith, 55, allegedly beat up Wallis McWilliams and Kirstie Gilbert in Grimsby on May 3, 2011.

Ms Smith is also accused of making a statement suggesting she was a police constable. She denies all three charges and will stand trial on July 30.
