Ban and £250 fine for drink-driver

A MARKET Rasen woman who admitted drink-driving has been banned from driving for 22 months.

Lincoln Magistrates’ Court heard how Joanne Flower, 41, of Elm Tree Close, pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan Micra when she was more than two-and-a-half times over the legal drink-drive limit.

The offence happened in Elm Tree Close on May 22, 2012.

Flower has been fined £250 and was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Her driving ban will be reduced by 22 weeks if she completes a drink driving rehabilitation course.

Flower pleaded guilty to the charge at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 22.
