Attacker must do unpaid work

A BROUGHTON man has to do 100 hours unpaid work after attacking a man in Scunthorpe.

Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court heard how Michael Hemmings, 49, of Airdale Close pleaded guilty to assaulting Alex Wilkinson by beating him on May 10, 2012.

Hemmings was ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 court costs.
