Appeal to find driver after car is damaged

Police are appealing for information after a BMW allegedly damaged another car while overtaking it.

It happened on the eastbound carriageway of the A180 at about 7pm on Wednesday, February 13.

At silver Ford S Max was travelling from the A15 and turned onto the A180 towards Grimsby at Barnetby Top interchange.

At the Melton Ross overpass bridge a black BMW is said to have conducted an overtake of the Ford and in doing so collided with the Ford.

It caused damage to the off side door panel and wheel arch.

The driver of the BMW, registration YX11 ZFY, did not stop and continued along the A180 eastbound.

Police are seeking anyone with information about the collision.

Witnesses should contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101.
