Police are asking people to keep their eyes open for six antique umbrella stands stolen from Market Rasen Methodist Chapel.
The items were taken in a break in at the chapel, which happened sometime between 9.30pm on Thursday April 11 and 10am on Friday, April 12.
The stands have been in the building since it opened in 1863, so the theft is a particular blow with the chapel celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.
Police have circulated a picture of one of the distinctive Victorian stands and are asking anyone who is offered them for sale or who sees them on sale to contact them immediately.
The thieves broke in through a window and caused a lot of damage and mess throughout the building.
Two silver plated chalices and a small amount of cash were also taken.
Call police on 101 quoting incident 102 of April 12 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
