A GREAT day out for all the family is promised at a country fair this Sunday, August 7.
Revesby Show is one of the largest local one-day shows and has a wonderful parkland setting with easy access and parking.
Around 250 trade stands from all over the country will be present, selling and displaying everything for the family, including a variety of food stalls.
The main ring is action-packed from 9.30am until the day finishes with terrier racing ‘Revesby-style’ at around 5pm.
Other events include the dancing JCB diggers, Thomas Longton’s sheepdog display, the award-winning Warwick Girls Marching Band and a demonstration by Extreme chainsaws.
There will also be numerous horse rings, from dressage to show-jumping, shire horses and equestrian life showing qualifiers.
And make sure you leave time to explore and enjoy the poultry tent, flower tent, the vintage cars, old tractors and oil engines, as well as the fun fair.
There is also the chance to have a go at fly fishing and enter the casting competition.
And don’t forget to visit and take part in the numerous dog rings, and the open gundog scurry, clay pigeon shoot and archery.
Entry is £20 per car, which includes all occupants.
