Councillor puts the spotlight on traffic signalling issues

TRAFFIC lights at the Old Courts Road junction with Barnard Avenue and at the Cary Lane junction appear to have been reset.

That was the opinion of Coun Ben Nobbs at the monthly Brigg Town Council meeting in the Angel Suite.

He told colleagues that vehicles exiting Grammar School Road on to Barnard Avenue had considerable difficulty in getting out on to the main thoroughfare.

He said there appeared to be regular queues of traffic between the two sets of lights.

“The situation is ten times worse than before,” said Couin Nobbs.

The problem is being referred to the highways department at North Lincolnshire Council.
