Corrie star headlines Wonderland the Musical at Grimsby

A musical adaptation of Lewis Carroll's '˜Alice Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass' comes to Grimsby this week.

‘Wonderland the Musical’ opens tomorrow (February 27) and runs to Saturday March 4.

Headlining the show, part of a UK tour, is TV and West End star Wendi Peters, much loved for her acclaimed portrayal of Cilla Battersby-Brown in Coronation Street, as Queen of Hearts, alongside musical theatre favourite Dave Willetts, who rose to fame for playing the title role in Phantom of the Opera, as White Rabbit.

Guest starring as Alice will be West End leading lady and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Rachael Wooding.

Wonderland is a timely and touching story of love in all its forms, an adventurous exploration of who we are, who we want to be and the power of everyday magic in our lives.

Performance times are 7.30pm nightly, with a matinee at 2.30pm on Wednesday and Saturday.
