A pool marathon at Market Rasen Social Club has so far raised £500 for Lincoln County Hospital Stroke Unit - and the money is still rolling in.
The event was organised by Shaun Bennett, who was treated at the unit last year after suffering a stroke at the age of 45.
“This is a cause very close to my heart,” said postman Shaun.
“The day went well and there was lots of support.”
As well as plenty of time at the pool table, the event, which ran from 9am to 1am, also featured a barbecue and disco.
“The treatment Shaun got from the stroke team was fantastic and this was our way of giving something back,” added Shaun’s wife Eve.
