Caistor faced the East Midlands in Bloom judges on Friday and they seemed to be impressed with what they saw.
Peter Benham and Jo Tarrant, both from Derbyshire, toured the town and then met up with many of the volunteers and group’s supporters at a celebration in the White Hart.
“Thank you for showing us Caistor today,” said Mr Benham.
“It impressed me so much I will be coming back to take a further look.
“In Bloom is about flowers but also about community. Congratulations to all; without you Caistor wouldn’t bloom.”
The town will have to wait until the award ceremony on September 17 to see if they reach the Gold standard again.
