Church packed for Christmas service

The Ramblers Church was packed for the annual candlelit carol service.'The church sits on the Viking Way, above the Wolds village of Walesby, at one of the highest points in Lincolnshire. Music came from the Gainsborough Salvation Army Citadel Band and Da Capo Folk Group from Market Rasen.'The service was led by the Rev John Carr, Vicar of the Walesby Group of Churches, and organised by the Friends of the Old Church under Chairman Peter Braithwaite.'A collection was taken for church funds.'Pictured are the Rev John Carr, with readers, and members of Da Capo Folk Group and the Salvation Army Band after the service.
