It’s a charity craze that has been sweeping the country and now two Caistor cricketers have
taken the plunge.

Lane Tutty and Liam Wood took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge at Caistor sports and social club.

Liam wore his cricketing kit, but Lane bravely stripped off for his challenge.

“I decided to strip off just to make it a fun event at the same time as raising money for a worthwhile cause,” said
Lane, who will be donating his money to Breast Cancer Research.

And in the spirit of the challenge, he has nominated Nathan Davis, Andrew Clark and Sam Welton to take part.

Liam was nominated by Luke Francis, but as yet hasn’t decided which charity he will be donating to.

“I did the ice challenge to join in the fun with everyone who was doing it,” he said.

“I nominated my dad Leslie Wood, Paul Dimbleby and
Rhiannon Denyer.”

And he had these words for those thinking of taking the challenge.

“My tip for anyone doing the ice challenge is to wear a helmet,” he said.

Liam and Lane have joined the long list of celebrities and other people taking the
challenge. Will you be next?
