Cathedral date a big day for West Wold churches choir

Their next participation is in a Songs of Praise Service at North Kelsey Parish Church on Sunday September 4th.The choir meets at 5pm to rehearse and the Songs of Praise is at 6-30pm. IT WAS a big day for the West Wold Deanery Churches Choir when they responded to an invitation to sing in Lincoln Cathedral.

The choir sang an anthem before the start of the Sunday Morning Eucharist, under musical director Andrew Richley.

The Deanery Choir was formed three years ago to enable choir members in the 42 rural churches throughout the sparsely populated deanery to get together every two months and lead a service.

Their next participation is in a Songs of Praise Service at North Kelsey Parish Church on Sunday, September 4.
