Some people refer to Lynne Hanson’s music as Americana, roots and rough around the edges folk, but she prefers to describe it as porch music and a little red dirt.

You can judge for yourself, as the Canadian songwriter from Ottawa comes to Kirton in Lindsey next week.

In 2014 she released ‘River of Sand’ which is the creative output of a difficult time in her life and in 2015, she toured the UK to great acclaim.

Now she is back with The Good Intentions – Nick Gauthier on guitar and MJ Dandeneau on bass.

Lynne Hanson and The Good Intentions headline at Town Hall Live on Friday, July 8.

Support will come from Becky Mills, one quarter of the much missed Waking The Witch.

Advance tickets cost £12 from One Stop at Kirton Lindsey, Brian on 01652 649230, or www.
