This year’s Commonwealth Day - March 13 - was marked by a national event.

Fly a flag for the Commonwealth saw each county across the UK being asked to fly the Commonwealth flag at the highest point within that county.

The honour of flying the flag for Lincolnshire fell to the Caistor Detachment of Army cadets, who parade a short distance from the trig point near Normanby le Wold marking the highest point in Lincolnshire .
