Cadets are flying high

TWO members of Market Rasen Air Cadets are flying high after completing their Gliding Scholarship.

Lewis Pickering and William Davidson attended 643 Volunteer Gliding School at RAF Syerston, near Newark, over several weeks.

During the course they undertook flying training on the Viking, winch launched Glider.

At the end of their time they managed to undertake a solo flight, gaining their ATC Glider Wings.

The Market Rasen ATC Squadron meets in Waterloo Street on Tuesday and Friday from 7pm to 9.15pm
