A Market Rasen air cadet has snapped up a prize in this year’s Royal Air Force Photographic Competition.

Sergeant Calum Dowse took second place in the section dedicated to the Air Cadets, with his picture taken at Tyne Cot Cemetery in Belgium during a visit to Ypres with the cadets earlier this year.

“The course allowed me to gain an appreciation of the technical aspects of photography and the composition of photographs,” said Calum.
