A BIT of ‘Summer Lovin’ comes to Market Rasen this Saturday.

The latest MR Big market steps back to the 1970s and will see more than 40 stalls selling gifts, plants, health and beauty, local honey, cakes, and the artisan and specialist food Lincolnshire is rightly so well known for.

And for the children there will be candyfloss, popcorn and rock, as well as free face painting.

There will also be family Bingo under the auction shed in the market square, and throughout the market the soundtrack of the 30 best ever summer songs performed live by local buskers.

Organisers hope visitors and traders will get in to the groove and go along in 70s themed fancy dress - £10 spot prizes are on offer for the best too

And to give a fantastic old tradition a new twist, MR BIG has commissioned three seaside ‘peepboards’ for people to photograph their friends and family peeking through.

The market opens at 9am and goes on throughout the day, ending with an after-market party in The George, where there will be live music from Shark.
