Uncle Henry’s Farm Shop, Butchery and Café at Grayingham has been named in the top four for Britain’s Best Butcher’s Shop at a national awards event.

The business was one of four finalists for the category at the Meat Management awards.

Each of the finalists was visited by two judges, Keith Fisher of BPEX and Andrew Garvey formerly of the BDCI, both of whom have many years in the meat trade.

Uncle Henry’s butchery was praised for its ‘high standard with products displayed well’.

Talking about their success in being a finalist Emma Ward, General Manager at Uncle Henry’s said: “We are delighted to have been recognised as one of the top four Best Butcher’s Shops.

“Our butchery prides itself on our home reared pork products and local beef, lamb and poultry and it’s great to be recognised for our team’s hard work and dedication to producing top quality products for our customers.”
