Specialist manufacturing business goes down the drain

A specialist manufacturing company has gone under just weeks before one of its most prestigious projects is unveiled at the international media
centre for the Olympic Games.

Kondor Bathroom Pods, based at a factory on the Elsham Wolds Industrial Estate near Brigg, went into liquidation two weeks ago.

The firm was a leading manufacturer of modular bathroom, kitchen and accommodation units and had a client list that included hotels, hospitals, universities, forces bases and upmarket residential developments around the country.

The liquidator now handling the affairs of the business, Charles Ranby-Gorwood of Grimsby-based CRG Insolvency and Recovery, has now instructed industrial auctioneers CJM Asset Management to sell off machinery, tools and equipment from the factory.

They are to go under the hammer in an online auction this afternoon, Wednesday, July 18.

The auction also includes equipment from Pages Skip Hire Limited, which was based at Lissinglea House Farm, Lissington. The company went into administration two weeks ago.
