When it comes to shopping locally, it does not just mean supporting your local high street.
Lincolnshire has a wealth of producers all making their mark as foodie favourites on both the national and international stage.
And what better place to get a true taste of the county than at the county show.
There will be with an eclectic mix of entertainment, food, shopping, music, horticulture and farm life – creating the perfect family day.
Relax on the members’ lawn with a glass of bubbly or a yummy picnic, while watching the Kangaroo Kid perform astounding stunts, or wander into the countryside area to see falconry, bees and reptiles .
Then hop aboard the land train to visit the fragrant floral displays and mini gardens created especially for the show.
And the food court will be packed with local producers, from Uncle Henry’s award-winning sausages to Pipers Crisps and much more.
“We’ll be demonstrating throughout the two days and persuading customers to be more passionate about their food and more discerning about the quality they buy,” said Pipers Crisps founder Alex Albone. “And, of course, we hope they’ll fall in love with our crisps.”
The Lincolnshire Show takes place on June 24 and 25. Visit www.lincolnshireshow.co.uk for more details.
